Maintenance points of transmission chain

The transmission chain is a very critical transmission structure in mechanical equipment, which affects the working performance and service life of the equipment. Therefore, it is particularly necessary to maintain the transmission chain normally. Here are some points for everyone.

1. The sprocket should be installed on the shaft without skew and swing. In the unified transmission assembly, the end faces of the two sprocket wheels should be in the same plane. When the distance between the sprocket wheels is less than 0.5 meters, the allowable error is 1 mm; when the distance between the sprocket wheels is more than 0.5 meters, the allowable error is 2 mm. However, no signs of friction sprocket teeth are allowed. If the two-wheel arrangement is too large, it is easy to produce off-chain and accelerated wear. Care must be taken to check and adjust the offset when replacing the sprocket.

2, the tightness of the transmission chain should be appropriate, too tight to increase power consumption, bearings are easy to wear; too loose chain is easy to jump and off the chain. The tightness of the transmission chain is: lifted or depressed from the middle of the chain, the distance between the two sprockets is about 2% -3%.

3. The transmission chain is too long or stretched after use, and it is difficult to adjust. Depending on the situation, the chain links are removed, but it must be an even number. The chain link should pass through the back of the chain, the locking piece is inserted on the surface, and the opening of the locking piece should face the opposite direction of rotation.

4. After the sprocket is worn out, the new sprocket and new chain should be replaced at the same time to ensure excellent meshing. You cannot simply replace a new chain or a new sprocket. Otherwise it will cause poor meshing and accelerate the wear of the new chain or new sprocket. After the tooth surface of the sprocket is worn to a certain extent, it should be turned over in time (refer to the sprocket used for adjustable surface). To extend the usage time.

5. The old chain cannot be mixed with part of the new chain, otherwise it is easy to generate impact in the transmission and pull the chain.
